Trivia
- When Haruna bows, you can see her name written in kanji as Homuro Haruna (火群ハルナ), meaning she took the name of her adoptive village as her family name. It's unclear if this is because of some Makai tradition, or if it's just as simple as Haruna and Gald being too young to remember their family name when they escaped their home village.
- When Saeko drops her pen, Daigo appears with his face obscured, and gives a speech similar to his "A sword is a Makai Knight's life" except about pens. This is the first hint at Daigo being the new PE teacher. The speech is interrupted by a scene transition, hinting that the lecture goes on much longer.
- They go to Shiaikan High School (試愛館高等学校) The kanji for shi-ai are "trial/ordeal" and "love".
