Trivia

  • Because of an airing of ping pong that went into overtime, this episode was pushed back to airing at 2 AM.
  • Crow's first transformation and battle.
    • Using his wings causes him to lose 20 seconds of transformation time.
  • This episode also reveals Crow's full title: Phantom Knight Crow (幻影騎士・吼狼). It continues the Garo tradition of Makai Knights whose names end in -ro, since Crow in Japanese would be spelled Ku-ro. In Japanese, the kanji for ro/rou means wolf.
    • When first transformed, Crow's helmet appears to be a crow. But when the helmet lifts it, they become wolf ears and a wolf design is revealed.
    • Going along Crow's ninja theme, he calls himself Raiga's shadow in battle. He can also throw Olva in a shuriken to have her scout for him.
  • Both Crow and Olva say the line "How many years have we been together?" to each other at different times.
  • After turning the couple into stars, Luke mentions that Orihime is lonely without Hikoboshi, a reference to the myth that Tanabata is based on.
