Background

  • Grew up in Zurich, Switzerland because of his father's work. Because of that, he's fluent in English, as shown in his acting work. He returned to Japan in middle school.
  • Played soccer, but had to quit in high school because of an injury.
  • In 2004, he was in college and thinking of studying abroad. To get the money, his friend in the entertainment industry helped him get a modeling job.
  • Married to singer Ayaka and took a break from the entertainment industry for a few years.
  • April 26, 2019 announced second child on Instagram. [1]
