Trivia

  • There are lots of puns in the original Japanese lyrics:
    • Verse 1, Line 3: Sou asu no tameni (Yes, for the future). "Asu" means "Tomorrow/Future" while "AASU" means "Earth". Therefore it can also mean "Yes, for the Earth".
    • Verse 1, Line 5: EKO no shouri e GO! (Victory for eco! Go!). "Eco" sounds like "Eikou" which means "Glory".
    • Verse 4, Line 2: Kibou ga aru kara ganbareru (We can do our best because there is hope). "Aru" (is) sounds like "R" which stands for "reduce", "reuse" and "recycle".

Corrections

"Dispose of the garbage" should be "Dispose off the garbage".
