Translated from Kaitou 怪盗. Phantom thieves are thieves who can appear mysterious to steal things. They're often gentlemen or lady thieves, usually following a strict personally moral code.

Examples

• Kaitou Daiki from Decade can literally appear and disappear out of nowhere. He has the ability to transport between dimensions. Although his name is Kaitou, he uses a different kanji than the kaitou that means "phantom thief".
• Phantom Thief Pink Buster from the Go-Busters displays superhuman dexterity and is able to out maneuver the Go-Busters. She follows a code of only stealing from greedy people. From what we see of her real life, she's actually a noble lady and possibly steals because of rich boredom.
