Important things that happened

Natsuki discovers that she "won" an invitation to a hot spring, and goes with Souta and Eiji.
Meanwhile, the other Boukengers discover that the invitation was sent by the Dark Shadow, and try to catch up with the three, who had gone to a place near Hermit Ravine.
It is learnt that Gekkou was once a human, and sealed an extremely powerful demon bird that tried to destroy the Hermit Ravine by fusing his body with it, and sealing the demonic power within an owl-shaped jewel.
Yami no Yaiba betrays Gekkou and unseals the jewel, weakening Gekkou who also injures himself.
While Gekkou travels to the location of the jewel to investigate, he meets Natsuki's group, and teleports Natsuki away while she unknowingly tends to his wounds.
Gekkou then asks Natsuki to bring him to the jewel.
However, Yami no Yaiba gets in the way, and delays them until a phenomenon makes the moon appears as three, which completely unseals the jewel's powers, turning Gekkou into the demon bird.
The Boukengers' DaiVoyager are no match for it.
Natsuki and Eiji manage to reseal the jewel and the DaiVoyager easily defeats the weakened demon bird, turning it back into Gekkou.
Kaze no Shizuka disappears with Gekkou back to their base, where Gekkou swears to kill Yami no Yaiba for his betrayal.
