Name
Akagi 赤木 means "Red tree". Nobu 信 means "Trust, faith" and O 夫 means "Man; husband".
Character
A delivery boy for Sasaki Pompoko Delivery (Which he calls S.P.D. after DekaRanger). A 29 year old Sentai and Aoi-tan otaku who has a crush on a girl named Honiden Sayaka. It appears that he often suffered from delusions even before becoming an AkibaRanger.
He lives at home. In one episode, his mom yells at him as he walks out the door in his AkibaRed costume (that he stayed up all night creating).
Sentai Mania
In one of his ending soliloquy, he talks about growing up singing the Maskman theme song. In it, he lists the various Sentai shows he watched as he grew up. He collects mecha toys, but remarks that sometimes his mom throws them out. He notes, painfully, that his friend from school had bought the same toy for his son that he had just bought for himself.
