The GoGo/Gougou has kanji, making it the onomatopoeia for the sound of engines, since this is a vehicle themed series. Bouken is the Japanese word for "adventure".

- The Versus Super Sentai movie establishes AkaRed, a Super Sentai character that transcends all Super Sentai series and is the embodiment of all Sentai Reds. He is mentioned in Goseiger's Versus movies commentary, but does not appear again till the 35th anniversary, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. He is voiced by Furuya Tooru 古谷徹.
