Trivia
- Sachiko means "happy child". Niko says that will be the name of her future child.
- Shinoda Koun is apparently 45 years old. His name "koun" is one letter away from being "kouun/fortune".
- Koun is the mangaka for Moemon. The name Moemon might be a combination of moe (cuteness) and monster. Which in turn might be a parody of Pokemon or even Doraemon.
- When Yocchan and Maki arrive at the Hayashi household, they bring melons which are expensive in Japan. They're also considered to be signs of wealth.
