Ultraman Ginga ウルトラマンギンガ
This series is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Tsuburaya Productions, and is part of the New Ultraman Chronicles (新ウルトラマン列伝). The episodes are split into two parts - the first half consists of six episodes which aired from July to mid-August. The second half consists of five episodes that will air from November to December. There are two movies - one in September, and another in 2014.
Story
In a distant past, a war broke out between all Ultramen and kaiju. During the war, an unknown force appeared and, using the power of the Dark Spark, turned all Ultramen and Kanju into dolls. The dolls were flung across space into a parallel universe's Earth where Ultramen and kaiju do not exist. One of these dolls, Ultraman Taro, has since been searching for the antithesis to the Dark Spark - the Ginga Spark, and the chosen one that can wield its power.
