*Mitsuki's rival is Usagi Mio. Usagi is sort of similar to Usami, the female Ranger on Go-Busters, whom one might argue is her current Sentai rival. Usagi and Mio were also rivals in [[Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon]]. The actress who plays Usagi is Nakano Juria, who was in [[Salvage Mice]], which was referenced in the last episode too. Director Tasaki worked on both PGSM and Salvage Mice.

*Probably a coincidence, but Usagi has a cast over her left leg just like Mibu Sayaka does in this week's Fourze.

The Painful Finale. Farewell, Delusion Sentai

最痛回 さらば妄想戦隊

Air date: June 22, 2012

Important things that happened

  • The characters fight the show creator to try to avoid the series ending. Truly a meta story.

Guest Stars

Enemies

Hatte Saburo 八手三郎 - This is probably not an actual person, but a pen name for a group of people. In Japan, his name is usually pronounced Yatsude Saburou, but there are times like in the Power Rangers where he's credited as Saburo Hatte. This pen name has existed as far back as the 70s (even being included on the Japanese Spiderman series).

Boomerang Titan - The ultimate example of technology from Dr. Z's Delusion Empire. Is piloted by DeluKnight.

Super Sentai References

  • Kozukozu is still dressed as Miu from Engine Sentai Go-Onger.
  • Hatte Saburo/Yatsude Saburou's name appears on a lot of old Sentai shows.
  • Sayaka watches the Sun Vulcan movie on the plane, turning her into a Sentai otaku.

Trivia

  • Yumera refers to Nobuo as Noburin. In Go-Busters, the new character Jin Masato refers to the commander as Kurorin.
  • Mitsuki's rival is Usagi Mio. Nakano Juria reprises her role as Usagi from director Tasaki's 2011 film Salvage Mice, which was also referenced in episode 11. Director Tasaki worked on both PGSM and Salvage Mice.
  • Probably a coincidence, but Usagi has a cast over her left leg just like Mibu Sayaka does in this week's Fourze.
  • The writer's make a rare political jab in one line. When Malshiina is about to kill DeluKnight, he wakes up and announces that his crisis management abilities are 100 times better than Japan's government's.
