Important things that happened
- Kengo, Yuuki, Eline, and Sugiura are chosen to face the third test. They all pass.
- Eline and Gentarou face off. Gentarou defeats Eline. Virgo collects her Horoscopes Switch. Eline is punished with only a memory wipe.
- Libra discovers that Sugiura is Taurus. This pleases him, since he feels that Sugiura will make a good pawn.
Guest Stars
- Eline Suda エリーヌ須田 / Aquarius Zodiarts - Karen Takizawa
- Hyuuga Chinatsu 日向千夏 Astronaut, committee chairman- Nakamura Aya
- Sugiura Yuuta 杉浦雄太 Vice-president on the student council - Itogi Kenta
Trivia
- In Twin Spica, there was also a test where the students were forced to camp and hike to a certain point within a certain amount of time.
- Like in the manga, a lot of the tests are fraught with surprises or unexpected problems to emotionally prepare the students for the harshness of space. The card telling Yuuki and Kengo to hide parts sort of reflects that.
- At the beginning, Ryuusei calls Gentarou naive (amai 甘い) which also means "sweet" in Japanese. Gentarou replies that he is an amatou 甘党 when it comes to friendship. An amatou is a person who is fond of sweets.
- Yuuki initially wants to write the kanji for bridge on her hand. This is the kanji for bridge: 橋. This is based on the superstition that one writes the kanji for person on their hands and then swallowing it helps to overcome shyness.
- Since Leo knocked Gentarou into the water at night, apparently it took him half a day to recover and appear at the test. Gentarou shows no signs of injury when he arrives. He also shows up at the test as Fourze, perhaps never having undone his transformation from the night before.
