It's famously associated with Chinese things because of the book Han Feizi in which it came to mean "To incur the Emperor's wrath". The naming of the GekiRangers, a kung-fu show with a Chinese theme like Ryugen also use Gekirin in the naming of the GekiRangers and RinJyuDen Akugata.
