Tachibana (Fourze)

A regular character on Kamen Rider Fourze

Member of the Anit-Zodiarts Union who provides support and equipment to Kamen Rider Meteor.

History

Tachibana created the M-Bus satellite which allows Ryuusei to become Kamen Rider Meteor. Also he was responsible for delivering the Gate Switch to Kengo on his birthday last year.

He tasks Ryuusei to help Fourze to deal with the Zodiarts and allow them to evolve into Horoscopes so Ryuusei could save Jirou when Aries appears. When Cancer discovered Ryuusei's identity as Meteor, he refuse permission to allow Ryuusei to transform into Meteor since he compromised his identity. Tachibana gives Ryuusei one more chance to become Meteor and get his upgrade, Meteor Storm. Initially Ryuusei appeared to fail the test but really passed the test and was able to defeat Cancer with Meteor Storm. He allows Ryuusei to be Meteor again since Cancer went to the Dark Nebula. After Ryuusei killed Gentarou, he cancelled Meteor's transformation and revealing Ryuusei as Meteor to the entire Kamen Rider Club. Then he helped Kengo revived Gentarou and achieve Cosmic States.

Personality

Tachibana is cool and calculating. He appear to have compassion with Gentarou and the Kamen Rider Club but recently, he doesn't need friendship but rather heartlessness. He wears a mask that looks like a robot and uses a voice changer to sound like one as well.

Trivia

• Tachibana's voice is used for the opening narration in the Fourze OP sequence.

• Tachibana is a direct reference to Tachibana Tōbei who helped most of the Showa Kamen Riders.

Tachibana's Alter Ego

After Tomoko was sent to the Dark Nebula, he told the Kamen Rider Club that everyone except Fourze, Meteor, and Kengo should not get involved anymore. Everyone left the club except Fourze, Meteor, and Kengo due to Virgo's threats, he met the remaining members face to face in order to get Gentarou to achieve Cosmic States without the bond of his friends. Tachibana started training Fourze but Kengo soon discovered that the traces of Nuggeropa on Tachibana since he sent it after Virgo earlier.

Tachibaina reveals that he's Virgo and transforms into her. Due to Libra's presence, he sends Meteor to the Dark Nebula.

Tachibana continues to train Gentarou in using Cosmic States alone but uses his powers as Virgo. Gentarou managed to succeed by using his Cosmic States finisher on the vase but he didn't achieve the form alone. After realizing that Gentarou's friends were still with him, Tachibana returned Tomoko and Ryuusei.

Tachibana Unmasked

Tomoko reveals that Tachibana is actually Professor Emoto Kuniteru. He takes off the mask and puts on his glasses, to the shock of the Rider Club. He wanted friends to help fight Gamou so he gave the Gate Switch to Kengo and the Meteor Driver to Ryuusei for that purpose. He became friends with Gentarou before Gamou appear and fire a fiery arrow through his chest. He later died in battle against Libra and Leo Zodiarts.
