Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is a light novel series written by Aisora Manta and illustrated by Koin. It is based on the Cthulhu mythos which Nyaruko takes on the form of a silver-haired high school girl and protects an ordinary high school boy named Yasaka Mahiro. She explains to him that the various myths of Cthulhu are actually based on various aliens that have visited Earth in the past and was assigned to protect him from being kidnapped.
