- As pointed out, the kanji for dragon appears in the following characters' names: Lee Pai-lung (李白龍), Kim London (金龍東), Takigawa Ryuuta (瀧川龍太). Saki Ryuuji also has dragon in his name (佐木竜二).
- The scales that grow under a dragon's chin is known as the inverted scale (gekirin 逆鱗). It's said that anyone who touches this scale will anger the dragon. This phrase also means "imperial fury". [1]
