Joujima Yuuki

城島ユウキ

History

Joujima Yuuki is a third year student and currently president of the Kamen Rider Club. She dreams of being an astronaut ever since she was a little girl and was friends with Gentarou up to the third grade when he moved away because of his parents' death. Her desire to go into space led her to attend Ama High. Yuuki wanted to know more about Kengo's father by talking to Kengo himself since she read his research on ancient civilizations. Her presence was the reason why the Gate to the Rabbit Hutch is a school locker since Kengo did not want others to know about it. After discovering the Rabbit Hutch, she helped Kengo with designing the Foodroids.

A year later, Yuuki reunites with Gentarou and helps him with the social structure of Ama High. Eventually she was use as a hostage by the football team since Gentarou was doing fairly well against them. After Gentarou takes the Fourze Driver, it was Yuuki who taught him how to use it even though the henshin pose and the "Space kita!" part may have not being necessary. When the Kamen Rider Club was formed, Yuuki wanted to run it but when Miu joined she automatically took the role of president from her. After Miu graduated, Yuuki got her wish and became president but Miu trumped her by becoming chairman of the Kamen Rider Club and thus Yuuki's dreams of being leader were trashed.

Yuuki was able to get a scholarship to the special classes in becoming an astronaut. She recently quits the Kamen Rider Club due to her fear of being erased by Virgo and not being able to get her dream to become an astronaut but rejoins after realizing that she couldn't run away from the Club.

Personality

Yuuki is a space otaku. It forms the core of her personality which takes over with other activities like when she was competing in Queen's Fest with her Hayabusa costume and basing songs on Hayabusa. She has a caring heart and willing to help her friends with their problems. Yuuki was the force behind in gathering others to help Kengo since she realized that he needed help even though he didn't want any at the time. She even went as far in asking for Gamou for help to rescue Kengo who was trapped in the Rabbit Hutch but luckily Miu stopped her by saying it was a silly bet. Yuuki possesses great ingenuity but her tendency to panic makes her leadership skills lacking compared to Miu.

Yuuki tends to act more like a child with her various antics like wearing a space shuttle act, various noises she makes while moving, trying to add books to the library, and Hayabusa plushie that she carries around. Her intelligence maybe actually average even though she wants to be an astronaut. She only got accepted into the special testing to be an astronaut because of Gamou's bonus question not by passing the written test.

Relationships

Yuuki is shown to be Kengo's best friends before and after the formation of the Kamen Rider Club, they share an interest in space. She's also shown to be very close to Gentarou, who is similar to her in terms of their sunny disposition and Miu, who acts as an older sister to her.

Name is based on Jouji Yuuki, Riderman.
