- Naitou calls the Hashiriyan black ships. Referring to the western ships that broke Japan's isolationist policies.
- There's no ending song since BoonBoom after his death.
- This is assistant director Miyazaki Shun's first time directing an episode by himself. His name uses the same kanji as Miyazaki Hayao, famous for his Studio Ghibli anime movies. Miyazaki Shun got his start working on Keitai Sousakan 7, another tokusatsu work which also included Tomioka Atsuhiro who wrote for both this and that series.
- From Director Miyazaki: "Up until now, we've used the grammar "XX not (something)..." 「〇〇屋は(が)〜ない」in important stories, such as the episodes introducing each character or when they join the team. When we finally got to Genba's "The Supplier Won't Give It Up", we couldn't help but think "What should we do for Taiya?" I'd been thinking about the "Not" a lot since summer, and suddenly the word "Cannot Deliver" came to mind. After about half a year of thinking about it, I've finally completed a story that looks like it might be usable."[1]
- The weapon used to kill Boondario was foreshadowed throughout the series. In Bakuage 10, "A Fun Mission," Genba tries to deliver a high concentrated-energy unit that is stolen by the Hashiriyans. This was turned into the Gekitotsu Buster that Naitou and the ISA were showing Spindo in the final scene of Bakuage 40, "A Man Who Can't Be Measured." Also, Naitou himself is the producer of the Boonboom Killer Robos.
- Boondario was pierced through the left chest. Then the area flashes bright white for a moment, followed by a soundless explosion. Director Miyazaki says that the convergence of the light and explosions were inspired by the fight against Ramiel in Neon Genesis Evangelion's Yashima Operation and AKIRA.[2]
