Talk:Useful Software
Additions(?)
How about these?
Creating Subtitles -> Creating/Editing Subtitles
- Subtitle Edit (www.nikse.dk/SubtitleEdit): tool for editing subtitle files.
- SubRip (zuggy.wz.cz/): to get text subtitles from DVD (maybe also BD) subtitles and hardsubbed video files (supports some avi, but maybe not all avi and mp4 [but that maybe can be converted]; so maybe it can be used to turn [T-N's] hardsubs into softsubs/fansubs).
- Notepad++ 5.60 (not 5.90 and 6.xx): has a useful text comparision function, e.g. to view and compare changes from one subtitle version to another. (In never versions this function broke and isn't as useful as the old one.)
Torrent Software
- uTorrent: Adding the name "µTorrent" as Greek letter µ (m) is different from Latin letter u, like putting it as "uTorrent (µTorrent)".
