Story

  • A parallel universe story about the 555 characters.
  • Despite being an alternate world story, the movie is where people first learn that Takumi is an Orphenoch. This is not revealed on the TV series until episode 34, which aired September 21st, almost a full month after the movie came out. So people who saw the 555 movie had some foreknowledge of what was to come on the TV series.
  • This is also the first instance of Faiz Blaster Mode. Blaster Mode doesn't appear on the TV series until episode 39, which aired October 26th.
  • Keitarou transforms into Kaixa.

Movie characters

Leo レオ / Kamen Rider Psyga - Peter Ho

  • Based on the Greek letter Psi Ψ.

Kiba Yuuji 木場 勇治 / Kamen Rider Oga - Izumi Masayuki

  • Alternate spellings are Ouga, Orga.
  • Based on the Greek letter Omega Ω. The name is probably a shortened version of Omega, O__ga. It's pronunciation is also like the O-Medals from OOO, which would fit in with the O theme of the Rider. His activation code is 000, which also looks like O's.
  • There is a theory the name should be Ouga, which uses the kanji 王我 which mean "ruler" and "self". Since these are called the Emperor's Belts, there is some credibility to this theory. If this were the case, then Psyga would be "I am Psi" and Oga would be "I am O(mega)" or "I am the king" depending on one's interpretation.

Mina ミナ - Kurokawa Mei (Young Mina - Shida Mirai) Mina's father - Tsuda Kanji (Ryuki guest, played the Editor-in-chief) Mizuhara 水原 - Hayami Mokomichi Professor Nomura 野村 - Ootaka Hiroo Merchant - Tsunogae Kazue 角替和枝 (Ryuki guest, played Yui's grandmother) Merchant - Taguchi Kazumasa

Guinness World Record

At the time, had the most extras in the cast for a single movie. There were 10,000 extras as the Saitama Super Arena. This was out of a total of 90,000 applicants.

In the end credits, their names spell "Thank you" in the original and "See you again!" in the director's cut.

Biblical references

Paradise Lost refers to an epic poem about the fall of man from the Bible. There is talk of Faiz being a savior, who will come back to life and bring peace to the world. This is not unlike Jesus being the Messiah and dying for our sins only to be brought back to life. There's also the Mari/Mary similarity.

Music

"Justiφ's -Accel Mix-" - Singer ISSA (Da Pump)
