Names
There are two parts to the DekaRanger's names. The first theme is all their names being related to tea. The second part is all their names being related to mystery and sci-fi authors.
- Akaza Banban (Ban) - Based on Bancha (番茶) or coarse tea. Akaza turns into Agasa for Agatha Christie, a famous mystery writer.
- Tomasu Houji (Hoji) - Based on Houjicha (ほうじ茶) or roasted green tea. Tomasu becomes Thomas Harris, the writer for the famed character Hannibal Lecter.
