Introduction from Kanzaki Shirou:
- Mirrors facing each other create infinite number of worlds. There is more than one fate. The only thing that's the same is desire. All humans desire. That's why they fight. And when that desire becomes so great that it becomes unbearable, people become Riders. The Rider Battle begins.
Important things that happened
- All 13 Kamen Riders appear in this special.
- Shinji is simply an ordinary journalist who lacks knowledge about the Riders and Mirror World. This was the case until Shinji is mysteriously dragged into the Mirror World, where he meets the first Kamen Rider Ryuki, Sakakibara Kouichi, who dies after fighting several Mirror Monsters.
- After becoming the next Ryuki, Shinji carries on Kouichi's quest in stopping the Rider Battle.
- Unwilling to allow Shinji to interfere with the Rider Battle, the Riders form a temporary alliance to kill him.
- Knight hesitates to kill Ryuki, which makes him a second target for the other Riders.
- Before dying, Ren finally acknowledges Shinji as his friend. He entrusts his Card Deck to Shinji and tells him to fight in his stead.
- This special has two endings:
- Ending 1: Shinji continues the Rider Battle in Ren's place as Kamen Rider Knight Survive.
- Ending 2: Shinji destroys the Core Mirror. However, the Rider Battle still resumes.

- A man who wants to stop the Rider Battle as Ryuki, but is unable to continue. He entrusts the Ryuki Card Deck to Shinji before dying.

- Sakakibara Kouichi makes his first appearance in this special as the previous Ryuki, instead of being devoured by Dragreder in the first episode of Ryuki.
- Sudou Masashi, Tezuka Miyuki, and Shibaura Jun also appear in this special as part of the 13 Riders lineup.
- Because Tezuka and Shibaura appeared in this special, this means Ouja never obtained their cards nor Genocider.
- As far as production continuity goes, this special marks the final appearance of Sudou.
- Ren and Tezuka were once friends in the past, until they became rivals for being both of Eri's boyfriends.
- At the Game Center, Shibaura plays the Soulcalibur arcade game against an unnamed opponent. The character he plays is Nightmare. Shibaura also gains a lot of fans for being able to run many things.
- The next morning after Shinji failed to ask Shibaura for support, he plays soccer in the ORE Journal office and briefly mentions David Beckham.
- The original TV airing of 13 RIDERS allowed viewers to call in and decide what conclusion they wanted to see.
