Super Sentai References

  • Kozukozu is dressed as GaoWhite and Tsuruhime.
  • Reference to Kaku in DaiRanger.
  • Akagi notes that he's as cool looking as Silva from Bioman.
  • Kozukozu points out that Takuma looks like Retsu, who is portrayed by Takagi Manpei, but he's actually played by the twin brother of Retsu's actor, Takagi Shinpei, who made a guest appearance in episode 38 of GekiRanger as the fake Retsu.
  • The CIA developed a device to calculate the curse level. It uses candles, which is a reference to ZyuRanger in which Burai only has a limited time to live, with the candle deciding his time limit. In the background you can also hear DragonRanger's flute.
  • Akagi being scouted to join Pentagon by leaving the AkibaRangers as the Red Warrior of the team is a reference to Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan, in which the first VulEagle was scouted by NASA and therefore was replaced by a second VulEagle.

Trivia

  • Tsuzuki Takehiro discovers something called the Moeshinsuki particle. This is presented in a magazine called The Mankind.
  • Toyozuki Shuri is an English anagram of Tsuzuki Hiroyo.
  • Yumeria is dressed as an old fashioned Japanese lady. She speaks with an accent that replaces some things like -san with -han.
  • In the subtitles, Kozukozu's name is spelled "ko dzu ko dzu" which sort of makes no sense since it's the zu based on su. For it to dzu, it'd have to be based on the hiragana for tsu, which isn't the case. Probably just a mistake by whoever added the subs.
