Trivia[edit]

  • Champ's alter ego, Yagyuu Juubei (ヤギュウジュウベエ), is taken from the famous samurai of the same name. Champ probably chose it because Yagyuu in Japanese can mean "buffalo".
  • The kanji on Yagyuu's mask means cow/bull (牛).
  • Yagyuu says he knows Champ as a fellow robo wrestler (robo wres ロボレス) which is a real thing. Japan has robot wrestlers.
  • In Champ's attack Aldebaran is the brightest star in the Taurus constellation. It follows the pattern of the KyuuRanger's finisher move involving the name of the brightest star in their constellation.

  • Color of the week: Yellow
