*Minato is reading The Fog Comes, Again (霧が来る、再び). Apparently a sequel to The Fog Comes(霧が来る), [[ Hasegawa Keiichi]]'s debut writing credit for [[Ultraman Tiga]]. Hasegawa is also the writer for these shorts.
*Atropos keeps reference Meitantei Conan/Case Closed. The child with the adult's intellect and the "There is only one truth" are both catchphrases from that anime. The door closing sound right after Kajiki freaked out about copyright was the sound of the title screen door at the start of every Case Close episode.
*In the preview, Atropos saying there'll be plenty of service is a reference to the way Misato ended the preview segments in the anime Evangelion.
