Guests[edit]

Trivia[edit]

  • First Net Movie set to be released on Blu-ray.
  • Hayami's special helmet is designed to look like a Switch. It has the symbol for Libra at the top.
  • It's obvious that they recorded one segment of Yamada walking in going "Hai, hai" and repeat it for all the Horoscopes segments. Since he's pressing the Switch as he walks in, the suit actor for Aries Zodiarts can do all the on stage acting for him while he dubs it over separately.
  • When Hayami is interviewing the swim girl, he starts fantasizing her in a swimsuit. This is ironic since he's usually showing illusions to other people, not himself.
  • Tetsujin is based on an old Ishinomori show. It means "strongman" in Japanese, but it literally means "man of iron" which is the case here since the Kyoudain are robots.
  • During the Tetsujin Class segments, a lot of the words used are punned from Kyoudai 兄妹 which means Siblings. Hence Kyoudain.
  • At the end of each of Sonoda's segments, she'll swear to impress Gamou. She'll follow it up by punching or kicking something as emphasis.
  • Takaiwa Seiji mentions that he's afraid of heights in this talk.
  • Morota-sensei is played by Morota Satoshi a tokusatsu director. He directed 12 episodes for Fourze and has appeared in several episodes including the finale. The Net movie reveals that his given name is also Satoshi, so they essentially share the same name.
  • In the Space Tetsujin segments, Kengo refers to Yuuki, Miu, and JK as Buchou, Kaichou, and Kaizou respectively since they all end in -ou. Buchou and Kaichou mean Club President and Director, while Kaizou is just JK's real name.
  • Apparently the Space Tetsujin lectures occur on the M-Bus. Although it's probably not canon, this implies there's a room large enough to fit a classroom on that satellite. Plus, in these segments, Tachibana goes out of the way to turn on the artificial gravity. So the function exists, he just prefers not to use it for himself.
  • Minapyon sings the song from episode 39 Lucky Cookie. She mentions that "Last year she was Pop Ayaka". Her real name is 大串彩佳, and while there isn't a wiki article on her, the 彩佳 part can be read as Ayaka. So it's probably a reference to her real name.
  • Tachibana remarks that Inga Blink is probably based on Gaburin Queen, but he doesn't mention that their names are anagrams.
    • IN-GA BURIN-KU (Inga Blink)
    • GA-BURIN KU-IN (Gaburin Queen)
  • Bobuta is like his hero Cygnus Zodiarts. His constellation is Cetus, which is pronounced Ketos in its original Greek. Similarly, Cygnus is actually pronounced Kygnus in Greek. Kyknos the hero's name is based on the Greek pronunciation of Cygnus.
  • In the last Horoscopes section, they turn Nebula into a made-up verb, Nebucchau, for sending people to the Dark Nebula.
  • Pisces is revealed to be Kuroki Ran in episode 45 which aired August 5th. The Net Movie about Morota being Pisces came out August 17, so it technically isn't a spoiler.
  • The Net Movie series are nicely bookended with Gentarou meeting with Ichigou and ending with Gentarou meeting Wizard. In the last segment, Gentarou shouts for Tomoko as usual. Normally, Tomoko responds "You called? (Yonda)". This time she responds "I read it! (Yonda)" and she's holding a script for Wizard. Puns!
