Important things that happened
- Kenzaki Kazuma is an agent of BOARD who combats the Undead as Kamen Rider Blade. Kenzaki travels to the location of his superior, Tachibana Sakuya (Kamen Rider Garren), to help him defeat the Bat Undead. Upon arriving at Tachibana's location, Blade and Garren struggle against the Bat Undead, until Garren manages to seal the monster into a blank card.
- Kenzaki and Tachibana return to BOARD's headquarters, where the organization conducts their research on the Undead. Tachibana suspects the motives of BOARD's president, Karasuma Kei.
- After getting evicted from his apartment, Kenzaki moves in with Shirai Kotarou, who wants to write about BOARD and the Kamen Riders.
- Aikawa Hajime is a photographer living with Kotarou's older sister, Kurihara Haruka, and her daughter, Kurihara Amane, at the Jacaranda Cafe after Haruka's husband passed away some time ago. Though he comes off as shy and introverted to those around him, Hajime is secretly a Kamen Rider.
- BOARD is under attack by a swarm of locusts, which then form into the Locust Undead.
- Kenzaki finds Hirose Shiori, who appears to be the only BOARD member to survive the Locust Undead's attack. Hirose tells Kenzaki that Tachibana might be the culprit behind the attack, after she witnessed an argument unfold between Tachibana and Karasuma earlier. Refusing to believe Tachibana would betray BOARD over a disagreement, Kenzaki storms off to find him.
- Blade furiously attacks the Locust Undead as Garren watches them from afar. Kenzaki asks Tachibana if he has truly betrayed BOARD, but Tachibana does not respond and leaves.

- After battle, Tachibana returns to human form and coughs.
- BOARD stands for Board Of Archaeological Research Department.
- When the tough neighbor tells Kenzaki to be quiet, you can hear a poppy girl singing something. He's probably concentrating on watching an anime.
- Both Kotarou and Kenzaki are orphans. Kotarou's parents died, so he lived with his uncle on the farm until he died the year before. And according to Kotarou's research, Kenzaki has no living relatives.
- In Hajime's entrance scene, he rides his bike to the side of Jacaranda. In the background, there's a sign that says "Shirai Farm" in English. Under the Jacaranda sign it says "The old barn house".
- Apparently Kotarou worked for a publisher before deciding to become a writer.
- Disturbed by the "Kamen Rider" words, Hajime rushes into the red room. He drops his Ace Change card before turning around. He briefly appears as Chalice, but it's all in his mind.
- The series catchphrase is said by the narrator at the end of the preview "Now, fully unleash that power!" It's not used in any other preview. But Chalice references it in episode 3.
