Trivia

  • The opening title spells Ryuuga's name with one u. The kanji shown is actually only the first kanji in Ryuuga's name, so it's just the "Ryuu" part which means "Current, flow".
  • When Ryuuga disappears from the car he was riding, he leaves behind a yellow flower.
    • The driver is Punch Sato, a former baseball player.
  • In the center of the park is a large status of an angel praying with her eyes closed. When Ryuuga put his ear to the statue, he heard a song or an instrumental and starts crying. When a woman asks him what's wrong, he says the city is crying.
  • Counter to the first episode of Garo, Ryuuga is very careful to not spill any Horror blood on innocent people.
  • Takeru calls Ryuuga showy, but admits that he doesn't mind that. Perhaps a direct reference to GokaiRed's catchphrase since his actor was also GokaiSilver.
  • Ryuuga tells the Horror that he doesn't speak the Makai language, but later on he uses his lighter to reveal his orders, which are written in the Makai language.
  • Jay Kabira has a commercial in this episode. He was a Horror in the first series.
