Trivia[edit]

  • This is the first time Riria's full name is used in the credits, since she changed it after Toqger Returns.
  • Conductor and Wagon are mentioned, but only appear in flashback sequences.
  • During the spy sequence, they use the English versions of their names. Fuuka is called Flower, Kasumi is called Mist. Nagi is literally called "No Wave", since his name means "calm of the sea". And Yakumo is, of course, Cloud, a nickname that only his mother uses to address him with in reailty.
  • Toqger callback - During the spy sequence, they refer to Hikari's stint as the Kendama Detective. In his announcement, Hikari called it The Kendama Detective Returns, like it's the name of a movie sequel.
  • Ninninger callback - When Akaninger slips on the banana, he makes the same joke as earlier in the series.
  • Kyuuemon seems to know that the Toqgers are kids, as he refers to them as boys and girls.
  • Apparently Dr. Mavro was designed with Johnny Depp in mind, particularly his roles as Wonka in the reboot of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Mad Hatter. In the designs for Mavro, he has the same hair style as Depp's Wonka, which appears in his kaijin form.
  • Mavro is based on the Greek word for "black". At one point, Right calls him Doctor Marble before Mio corrects him.
  • Tokacchi introduces himself in the style of the Ninningers. He says "The Shining Glasses. Tokacchi."
  • The Jyuohgers appear, but don't actually meet the other sentai teams in movie.
  • During the wedding scene, the priest is quoting Corinthians 13:4-8 from the Bible[1]
  • Seeing grandfather in the afterlife foreshadowing for the end of the series.
