Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai
The sequel to the game Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable a visual novel game for the PSP system.
Based on the anime Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.
The package includes the first game, so there's two PSP discs. It wouldn't make much sense to play the sequel by itself since the story is a direct continuation.
Premise
A direct continuation of the story from the first game. The player, Kyousuke, wakes up in the morning and chooses a girl to spend his time with. This choice leads directly to that character's route. The story assumes that at this point, the girl already likes Kyousuke or is interested in being his girlfriend, and the story takes off from there.
Apparently these new stories incorporate story elements from the light novels. There are characters who haven't appeared in the anime.
Systems
The systems are more or less the same. This time, there are some scenes that switch to the girl's perspective. The stories are a lot more streamlined. Once the girl is picked, the player paths through the story and either reaches the good ending or fails and gets a bad ending.
There's still the bonus block elimination minigame where the player bounces balls against tiles that remove the clothes of the character.
A new bonus feature is that once a girl's route is completed, a bonus video of the girl visiting Kyousuke's dad for advice is unlocked. In this scenario, Daisuke is known as an advice-giver for young girls. Watching these videos do not appear to add to the overall completion percentage.
In the Manami route, there is a choice to have her go without glasses. While this doesn't affect the story, it will affect the percentage of pictures collected. The player will need to replay her route to get all the pictures to get full completion of the game.
New Characters
Akagi Sena
- While mentioned in the first game, she doesn't have a speaking role till this one. She is also one of the new potential love interests.
Makishima Kaori
- Saori's older sister.
Kurusu Kanata
- Kanako's older sister.
