- At karaoke, Sumino is singing the final two lines of Omokage/Visage by Shimazaki Yuri, a song from 1994, perhaps hinting at her duplicitous nature.
- Magi Giree and Ayeayezir Mandrake are both references to MagiRanger. Magi Giree is a pun on Seriously clean (maji kirei) and the word Magi and the various spells it used. Mandrake is a reference to Mandora Boy and its weapon Mandrake Broom references the magical broomsticks they used to fly in MagiRanger.
- Meddler No-One is based on an ammonite because it has a shell (kai) which they can pun into osekkai (meddling). You can see this when he separates out the kai in his autograph.
