- The Ganglar is based on hippopotamus. He says kaba a lot, which is the Japanese word for hippo. At times, he puns it with the English word "cover" and "recover since they sound similar to "kaba". His other motif is teeth, since his weapon is a giant toothbrush.
- Noël is added to the opening sequence this week. The Lupin credit timings are exactly the same. To make room for Noël's scene, they shorten the PatRanger credits.
