Trivia
- The constellation Argo Navis was a large constellation that has since been broken up into Carina, Puppis and Vela. Argo Navis means "the ship Argo". The three new constellations are all Latin for ship parts. Carina means the keel of the ship, Puppis is the poop deck, and Vela is the sails of a ship.
- "The constellation Pyxis (the mariner's compass) occupies an area which in antiquity was considered part of Argo's mast."[1] The KyuuRangers use Rashinban (Pyxis) KyuuTama to find the other KyuuTama related to Argo.
- The Japanese names are all ship parts Tomo (stern), Ho (sail), and Ryuukotsu (keel). But ryuukotsu literally translates to "dragon bone", because the large structural shape of the keel in boats resembled dragon bones.
