We learn that Suga had a child, with implications that all these experiments were in the attempt to resurrect this child.
- This explains why Suga bristles when dark Shouma calls him father, since he already had an actual child.
- This parallels what Mary Shelly went through when she wrote Frankenstein, after the death of her child. Because of his loss, Suga is trying to avoid that tragedy again by giving his new child a body that will never die. Thus his obsession with creating the ultimate life form that can never die.
- Throughout this episode we see Suga paired with a BG version of rock-a-bye-baby.
- This revelation also explains why Suga was researching cloning technology.
Dente saying that what Nyelv could create, he couldn't, is a pretty funny inversion of the line he said in the previous episode where he declared he could make anything that Nyelv could.
