Ultraman Tiga is the 11th Ultraman series. The series features the first Ultraman who is not almost entirely red in color, as well as one who can change colors and modes.

Plot

At the dawn of the 21st century, monsters and aliens start appearing. The Terrestrial Peaceable Consortium (TPC), an international organisation set to upkeep peace on the planet, is tasked with investigating it, as well as protecting Earth from them. From within a mysterious meteoroid which landed on Earth, the Global Unlimited Task Squad (GUTS), an elite divison of the TPC, discover a time capsule containing a holographic message telling of devastating catastrophes about to occur on Earth, and of a giant named Tiga who can save Earth from the foretold disasters. As the message correctly predicted, two monsters, Golza and Melba would appear, which they did. The TPC set off to investigate a location known as the Pyramid of Tiga in order to awaken the giant, the only one who can save the planet.

Trivia

  • The type of romanji we use in this wiki would spell シンジョウ テツオ as Shinjou Tetsuo. However, the back of his uniform spells it as Shinjoh.
  • Only Iruma's name on the back of her uniform cannot be read because her long hair covers it.
