  • In the flashback to the past, the flag with the three hollyhock leaves is the crest of the Tokugawa clan. They ruled Japan until the Bakufu in the last 1800s.
  • The other army had the emblem of Ishida Mitsunari.
  • Many elements from this anime are taken from Japanese period plays. Terms like sanjou, kenzan, iza, are all stuff you'd hear in shows about the old timey times.
