Trivia
- Like the other DekaRangers, Neo DekaRed and Yellow have names that are based on tea names and sci-fi/mystery writers.
- Mugi Grafton is based on Mugi-cha (barley tea) and the mystery writer Sue Grafton.
- Asamu Asimov is based on Assam tea (the proper Japanese spelling should be Assamu though) and the sci-fi writer Isaac Asimov.
- The alien that is attacked at the beginning is Michael Micson, the singer from the DekaRanger ending sequence. He's voiced by Sasaki Isao who sings the ending theme for the TV series.
- In the guidebook, Jasmine's name has been changed to Hiwatari Marika (Her real name used to be Reimon Marika).
- When confronted by Sen, Hoji responds to the rumors by saying a rumor only lasts 75 days. It's another way of saying "rumors change along with the season".
- Kight is apparently part of the Space Mafia Kyurlian Family.
- Doggie is being treated at Planet Reviful, an amalgamation between the words "revive" and the suffix "ful".
Actor and Staff Trivia
- Hata Mizuho is a frequent Sentai guest. She's guested on Boukenger, Shinkenger, and Go-Busters. This is her first time as a Sentai member though.
- Tochihara Rakuto who plays Asumu here, also played Asumu in Hibiki.
- Uemura Yuuto portrayed Hiwatari Hikaru on DekaRanger Template:Deka and 08 and returns to play the same role in this OV too.
- Takemoto Noboru directed this OV and was the major director for the TV series (13 episodes) as well as the director for the finale. He also directed last year's Kyouryuuger 100 Years After.
- Arakawa Naruhisa was the head writer for DekaRanger. He wrote 27 episodes from the series, as well as the movie, and the Abaranger Versus, and the MagiRanger Versus movies. He also wrote the DekaRanger tribute episode for Gokaiger as well as the Chou Ninjatai Inazuma! OV which had DekaRanger actors in them.
- Carrie's dad was played by Tsutsui Takumi who played the lead hero Toha Yamaji in Sekai Ninja sen Jiraiya.
