操真晴人 "Sou" means "To manipulate, control" and "Ma" means "True, reality". Controller of reality? "Haru" means "Bright, cheery" and "Hito" means "Person"

Summary from TV-Asahi
- A young man who survives the mysterious solar eclipse ritual. It was at this time that he received the henshin tools that let's him become the demon hunter Kamen Rider Wizard.
- At a glance, he may seem easygoing and frivolous. He rarely shows his true nature. Because of that, many people misunderstand him. It bothers him and makes him feel depressed at times.
- Perhaps it's because he focuses on fighting demons, but he's extremely indifferent to his daily life and is sloppy.
- Loves donuts.
History
When Haruto was a child, he and his parents were involved in a car accident. He managed to survive the accident with no major injuries but his parents weren't as lucky as they died in the hospital. Sometime after that, he got mixed up in the Solar Eclipse Ritual. During the ritual, he didn't give into despair and thus didn't die and gave birth to a Phantom but it still exists inside of him. Haruto was about to be attacked by a Phantom before the Mage in White appeared and defeats it. He recognizes that Haruto has the qualification to be a mage and gives him the Wizardriver and the Flame Style Ring. The Mage in White also leaves a girl named Koyomi who is also a survivor of the ritual to his care. Haruto and Koyomi eventually find Wajima Shigeru, an owner of an antique store and has the ability to create Magic Rings for Haruto to fight Phantoms.
Six months later, he encounters a squad of cops led by Detective Daimon Rinko who were trying to stop a group of Ghuls from attacking a bunch of factory workers. After dispatching the Ghuls but he could search for the Phantom Minotauros, he was detained by Daimon Rinko. Escaping from jail after finding out that Rinko's partner was the Phantom, he fights Minotauros and defeats him but the process of becoming a Phantom was started on Rinko. Haruto enters her Underworld and defeats the Phantom Jabberwocky which makes Rinko no longer a Gate. Until Phantom Phoenix appear, Haruto was able to defeat Phantoms with little trouble. When attempting to transform into Flame Dragon Style, Haruto was pulled into his Underworld by Dragon which he warns him that using the power would bring him closer to despair. Haruto counter that Dragon is his hope which Dragon found amusing and allowed him to achieve Flame Dragon Style to defeat Phoenix.
When Haruto was fighting Phantom Beelzebub, he was defeated by his own Flame Dragon Special finisher. The Mage in White show up and teleported Haruto away so he could create a magic device that utilizes the full power of Dragon. Haruto went through a trial where he bombarded by Dragon's attacks and resulted in the creation of the Drago Timer. With the power of the Drago Timer, Haruto was able to defeat Beelzebub using the three Dragon clones.
Personality
Haruto seems to be rather easygoing but when someone is about to become a Phantom, he becomes deadly serious. He loves donuts even far back to his childhood days. He would say "I'm your final hope." to Gates who are in or about to fall into despair. This trait comes from his dead parents who told him that he was their hope before they died.
Haruto's Underworld consists of him being at a hospital room holding his parents' hands together before they died.

Phantoms refer to him as the Ring Mage (Yubiwa no Mahoutsukai).
A man who can use magic because he didn't give into despair. Has a Phantom in his body.
Catchphrase: It's showtime!
When he transforms the belt sings "Sha ba do bi Touch. Henshin." This is also played for Style Changes.
Items
Belt: The Wizard Driver. When a ring is put upon the hand print on the belt, he transforms into Kamen Rider Wizard. The left hand's transformation ring can be swapped to do four Style Changes.
Bike: Machine Winger. It's Wizard's motorcycle. It also acts as reins for the Wizardragon and becomes an extra skin for its wings when combined.
Weapon: Wizarswordgun. From the name, it can be either a sword or a gun. When Wizard opens the hand on the weapon, it can unleash a finishing attack. The hand can be use with the rings as well such as Copy and Big so the effect would be isolated on the weapon only.
- Finishing Moves
- Shooting Strike - Gun mode's finisher. Unleashes multiple elemental charged shots at enemies
- Slash Strike - Sword mode's finisher. When used in a slash motion, it can emit a wave of elemental energy to defeat the enemy.
- AxCalibur - It's Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity's weapon. Dragon transforms into this weapon and a combination of an axe and sword. When Wizard places his hands next to the hand symbol on the weapon, it Turn On for its finisher.

- Shining Strike - It makes AxCalibur very big and destroys the enemy on impact. When Wizard touches the hand on the weapon, it goes "High Touch Shining Strike" and go "Kirakira" repeatly.

Other: Drago Timer. It allows Haruto to create clones of the Dragon forms independent of him and be able to become Kamen Rider Wizard All Dragon.

- Special Formation - When the timer is activated after all four Wizard Dragon Styles are together, it allows them to use their Special Ring forms.
Styles (Forms)
The rings change the mask and the chest portions. He uses magic from each of the Elements. The right hand rings are reserved for casting spells. It works in conjunction with the left transformation rings. He can use them even when not transformed as Wizard, making the story more exciting. Depending on the style, the spell rings are affected by the elemental trait of the style.
Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style

Red form. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Flame. Please. Hii Hii HiiHiiHii". It's considered to be the base form for Wizard.

Yellow form. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Land. Please. Dododo dododon Don Dododon". He possesses greater strength with this form compared to the other forms.

Green form. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Hurricane. Please. Fuu Fuu FuuFuuFuuFuu".

Blue form. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Water. Please. Sui Sui Sui Sui".

Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Dragon

Upgraded Flame Style using the power of Phantom Dragon. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Flame. Dragon. BouBou Bou Bou Bou".
Even though Haruto can travel to the Underworld in this form, he cannot use its power due to Dragon needing to leave him in order to fight the giant Phantoms. When using the Special Ring, Dragon's head materializes in reality to execute the finisher.

Kamen Rider Wizard Hurricane Dragon

Upgraded Hurricane Style using the power of Phantom Dragon. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Hurricane. Dragon. Byuu Byuu ByuuByuuByuuByuu".
When using the Special Ring, Dragon's wings materializes in reality and allows Haruto to fly.
ビュー (Byuu) = The sound of something blowing.
Kamen Rider Wizard Water Dragon

Upgraded Water Style using the power of Phantom Dragon. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Water Dragon. Jabajaba Bashaan Zabunzabun". ジャバジャバ バシャーンザブンザブン
When using the Special Ring, Dragon's tail appears.

Kamen Rider Wizard Land Dragon

Upgraded Land Style using the power of Phantom Dragon. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Land Dragon. Dan Den Don Zu Dogon Dan Den Dogon".
When using the Special Ring, Dragon's claws appears on Wizard's hands.
Kamen Rider Wizard All Dragon
オールドラゴン
With the Drago Timer, Wizard is able to combine all of the aspects of Dragon into one form called All Dragon. When the Drago Timer is placed over the belt, it goes "Final Time All Dragon. Please."
He is able to use all elemental abilities with All Dragon. As a final attack, elemental attacks in the form of dragons attack the enemy while Wizard kicks the enemy.
Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity

When Haruto lost his magic from Legion killing Dragon in the Underworld, his tears over Koyomi's collapse due to lack of magicial energy created this ring. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Infinity. Please. Hii Sui Fuu Dou Bou Zaba Byuu Dogoon." ヒー スイ フー ドー ボー ザバ ビュー ドゴーン
The song is based from all previous styles' songs except All Dragon.
This form allows Wizard to use all four elements and possesses super speed. Also he wields AxCalibur in this form.

Wizardragon
ウィザードラゴン
Summoned with the Drago Rise Ring. It is the Phantom that's within Wizard and thus it can be only summoned while in the Underworld. Without Machine Winger, it won't listen to Wizard's commands and needs to be control with Machine Winger. It can shoot fireballs. It does has intelligence which suggests that it did not want to follow Haruto's commands but it allow him to use the Flame Dragon ring to use his power outside of the Underworld.
Finisher: When the Kick Strike Ring is used, Wizard is able to transform the Wizardragon into a giant foot to destroy Phantoms.
