Trivia
- Ninnin Girls and their animated forms are designed after Toei's animated girl series Precure. Original picture by Kagawa Hisashi, character design and direction by Komatsu Kozue, both contributors to the Precure series. Animation by Toei Animation.
- Midoninger is a portmanteau of Midori (Green) and Ninger. Unlike the other Ninningers, the "ri" part is consumed by the "ni" in ninger, so the first word is cut off.
- Kokonoe Luna's name is a reference to Izayoi Kyuuemon. Both of them contain the word "nine" (like nine-tails) and references the moon in them.
- One of the monsters tries to make Takaharu slip on a banana peel. The banana peel is a recurring joke for the Igasaki siblings. Both of them have fallen on one in the series and movies.
- It's hinted that Takaharu gets his catchphrases "I'm on fire" and "That's hot" from his mother. She uses them several times in this movie.
