• This episode title is a reference to the theme song for Ryuki.
• When Kido sees Geiz, he mistakes him for Ren. This is probably a joke on how similar the two characters are in looks and in their roles in their respective series.
• Shinji shouting Ren's name is the last line spoken in this special.
• When Kido appears back in reality, Sougo and him recognize each other, so this must take place after the events of episode 22. But Ryuki isn't among the list of Ride Watches needed in episode 30 as mentioned by Oma Zi-O, so it must take place before then.
