- According to the newspaper, the main body of the episode appears on June 25th, which is the day after this episode airs.
- The picture at the bottom of the newspaper looks like it's from the design sketch for Lupin X.
- Zarudan is very obviously an homage to the Monkey King, with the monkey motif, rod weapon, and flying cloud. Also, Zaru is from Saru/Monkey.
- Lupin Collection Smoke Gets In Your Eyes is an American song from the 30s.
- Lupin Collection Endorphin Machine is based on the Prince song of the same name.
- When being interrogated, Noël says he's 26, B blood-type, and his favorite food is escargot. He also frequently uses French phrases to show his time living in Paris.
- Noël's mecha are different from the Lupin's aerial vehicles and the Pat's automobiles. The silver/Lupin train is a modern bullet train. Whereas the gold/Pat train is a steam locomotive.
