- When Sougo names the Wozs Black Woz and White Woz, Black Woz comments that they're not goats. This is a reference to the fable of the Two Goats. In the story, a black goat and a white goat meet on a bridge, neither budging, as a result, they lock horns and both fall into the river.
- カマシスギ is a pun on "overly concerned" and kama/sickle and sugi/overdo.
