Human form: Security Guard (警備員)
Played by: Cotton Kenji (こっとん健児)
Height: 214cm
Weight: 184kg
  • His catchphrase seems to be to call people "Careless". In Japanese this means "insecure", which fits his guard background.
  • Also, Spriggans were known as fairy bodyguards, so it makes sense that his human form is also a guard.
  • Continuing on this defense theme, Spriggan possesses a shield that can seemingly block most spell attacks.

Trivia

  • Introduces Kamen Rider Beast Hyper. [1]
  • The fragment that Nakamoto finds is stolen by his superior. The picture caption makes a reference to Monster Hunter by saying that it's from the Airu/Felyne civilization. Someone different must have worked on the bigger version of the newspaper article because it also says it's from the Naya civilization.
  • Spriggan continues his security motif by talking about how they should have locked up the Gate's moral support in a bank.
  • At the end, Gremlin finds a chained up man whom he addresses as Naitou-san (内藤さん).
  • When Wizard uses the Hole spell, it drops them into the office of Nakamoto's superior who betrayed him. Notable differences are that there's some new artifacts on the left, the rack is moved, and there's a bag of golf clubs by the desk. Tomioka is looking at a club when Haruto and Spriggan drop in on him. Perhaps Tomioka's new found fame has afforded him more luxury time for golfing?
  • Beast's Hyper form is very similar to Wizard's Dragon forms. When Nitou tries to use the Hyper Ring for the first time, he talks to Khimaira like Haruto talks to Dragon when he tried to use Flame Dragon Ring for the first time. Also Khimaira mentions that by using Hyper that it will manifest his power in reality much like Dragon tells Haruto that using Flame Dragon will manifest Dragon's power in reality. Both Dragon and Khimaira warn them both but Haruto and Nitou both accept the risks which makes both Dragon and Khimaira become interested in them.
  • On the shelf where Nakamoto hid Nitou's belt and rings are several books labeled "Old Testament", "Korean Mythology", "Norse Mythology", and "Cthulhu Mythos"
  • On the shelf behind Haruto and Shunpei when they confront Nakamoto is a box labeled 宇宙考古学 - "Space Archaeology", a possible Fourze reference.
