Important things that happened

  • Sugiura apparently is in love with Sayaka. And Shouko is in love with Sugiura, that's why she supports him of her own free will.
  • Tomoko catches Virgo reverting to her true form, Professor Emoto.
  • Gentarou defeats Sugiura using the power of love.
  • Virgo sends Sugiura and Tomoko to the Dark Nebula. Virgo explains that the Dark Nebula is a mass of negative Cosmic Energy. When Zodiarts are born, they emit negative Cosmic Energy which causes the Dark Nebula to grow. When Tomoko caught Emoto as Virgo, he was talking about how the Dark Nebula was growing at an expected rate.
  • From the flashback, it is implied that it was Emoto who kills Kengo's father, Utahoshi Rokurou. And it is also revealed that Emoto is also a red eyes man. Up till this point, the series has lead the viewer to believe that it was Gamou who killed Rokurou.

Trivia

  • We see Sugiura flipping his pencil again in a flashback.
  • Meteor signs the contract with "Meteor". Apparently this is good enough for Sugiura.
  • When Sayaka is breaking the rules, her hair has highlights and curls.
  • The clue that Emoto is Virgo is from his name, it's an anagram of Otome which is Japanese for "maiden". Plus Virgo in Japanese is Otomeza.
    • On the Asahi page for Fourze, the news update for the Horoscopes page said, "Virgo's identity is finally revealed. Check the Horoscopes section!"
  • Virgo displays barrier capabilities.
  • The episode title in Japanese Rinen Jounen (ideals passions) both have the word nen in them, which means "ideas, feelings". The similarity in how the words sound is a sharp contrast to how different their meanings are.
  • This episode was preempted for golf, and there is golf in this episode.
  • Virgo and Emoto both have the same response to situations when people think they're good. When Meteor thought Virgo was good, and when Tomoko thought Emoto were good, he responds with, "Looks like you underestimate me." (Mikubirareta mono da 見くびられたものだ) It's the exact same phrasing in both cases. This happens at the beginning, right before the opening, and again at the end. The intended parallels are obvious.
  • When Virgo says farewell to Nozama, it's Emoto's voice. However, in the captions it's labeled as Virgo. Probably an oversight in production, since Virgo always uses the Virgo voice in that form.
