Important things that happened
- Houjou Tooru investigates Hikawa's past and discovers that Hikawa was the hero in the Akatsuki-gou incident. Houjou confronts Hikawa that due to the police higher-ups wanting to cover up the incident, they appointed Hikawa as G3's operator in exchange for his silence.
- The Unknowns attacks Mayumi again. While protecting her, Ryou's body transforms into Gills for a split second.
- Mayumi asks Ryou to leave her alone as she only wants to a normal life. She'd leave the city and go live with her mother.
- Agito and G3 engage the Unknown Anguis Femineus while the Unknown Anguis Masculus stalks Mayumi.
- Ryou, wishing to protect Mayumi, henshins into Gills.
- Ryou watches Mayumi off and says his goodbye behind a lamppost.
- Wounded and desperate due to the damage sustained from the battle with Agito and G3, Anguis Femineus attacks Doctor Mikumo Sakiko. Enrage, the boy in black orders the Unknown to kill itself.
