- Location trivia: Misao fights Bang Rey under the Iruma River Bridge in Saitama, a site of many other toku filming locations.
- The flyer for the fireworks show is at 7 PM on the day this episode aired, July 31st.
- The firework show is the soft time limit for this day's events. During the mecha fight, the lighting shows that the sun is setting, showing their time limit was drawing near.
- The episode starts in the morning and ends in the evening. Misao wears a yukata and what appears to be geta clogs in preparation for the fireworks show, but ultimately takes them off in penance, and puts on what appears to be his PE gym clothes from high school.
- Bang Rey's name is written in stylized English on the DeathGalien terminal, hence why we use this spelling.
