- In one of the scenes, a chain link fence with barb wire on top can be seen.
- This episode introduces the first Bikuu Movie Blu-ray/DVD commercial. So both this episode and the commercial are a plug for the home release of the Bikuu movie.
- The Makai Retsuden website spells Bikuu's name Biku. This is in direct contradiction to the spelling used in the materials included in the Bikuu movie Blu-ray.
