- Haruka draws left-handed.
- Samuraiki has the kanji for shi/death 死 in his face. Shi for Shinkenger? This makes thematic sense since that series was all about the power of kanji from Mojikara.
- End scene has the cart on Oomori-Zaka.
- The kanji for don/bowl 丼 has the 4 lines enclosing a dot. That's funny because Matsui (松井) and Shirai (白井) both have a logo where the first kanji is in the center of the empty 4 line enclosure to make a stylized don kanji.
