- Kitou Yuriko is played by Miwa Hitomi who has been in various toku and scary movies.
- One of the articles has the line "Black not white" (shiro naranu kuro) which might be a reference to "two blacks don't make a white" (黒に黒を足しても白にはならぬ).
- Saru Brother guesses that Oni Sister is bunny-themed. May be a reference to Yellow Buster who also transformed with glasses and was yellow and had a bunny theme.
