Dr. Z decides to shut down Sutema Otsu so that he can start the Delusion Empire.
The AkibaRangers get color matching jackets for their civilian forms. Hakase gets a military-looking uniform. Takuma starts calling her Director (長官).
Akagi realizes that they are in a TV show called Hikounin Sentai AkibaRanger. He catches a moving by telop to prove it. Takuma leaves and everything is restored to just before the Dr. Z storyline started. Malshiina tries to convince Dr. Z to return to normal. He reverts, but immediately changes back.

Number one: Drill Cyclops

Kozukozu is dressed as ??, Momo from OhRanger, and Miu from Go-Onger this week.
Akagi realizes that the current story parallels Sun Vulcan.
The group mention ShinGiTai from GekiRanger. While Retsu was Gi/Technique, Takuma is Shin/Heart. Yumeria is Gi and Mitsuki is Tai/Body.

Looks like the dubbing for Akagi at the beginning is messed up. His voice faintly appears before he speaks.
The Shachiiku chant "pension" and "kunshou/medals" this week.
The group transforming together only seems to do one candle's worth of damage to Hakase.
New opening narration and the second verse of the song appear. There's also another narration by an official Sentai narrator at the beginning.
In Yellow's rollcall, she mentions the proverb Mouki fuboku 盲亀の浮木 which means "An extremely difficult meeting." The proverb literally is "A blind turtle finding floating wood."
- The second line uses two four-kanji phrases. Migaku-kaigan and shiden-issen are also four kanji. Using these are a notable characteristic of Ban from DekaRanger
- The first A ki ba chorus tells the story of someone who got caught as an otaku by having an Aoitan keyholder on their bag. Maybe Mitsuki, since she is the most normal of the bunch and they mention her keyholder before.
- The second A ki ba chorus describe the three Rangers.
- The line about being bathed in the morning sun on Sunday is a reference to the time and channel where the official Sentai airs (TV-Asahi on Sunday).
